Amatica keeps askBM.co.uk in the lead
09 June 2008

Birmingham Midshires' consumer website askBM.co.uk has been rated by independent website analysts SiteMorse as the UK's leading retail banking website. SiteMorse analysed 70 websites for compliance with accessibility and W3C guidelines, code quality and performance.
askBM.co.uk heads the SiteMorse league table in No 1 position ahead of Bradford & Bingley and Intelligent Finance. Big names such as Co-operative Bank, Lloyds TSB, Nat West, Nationwide and Royal Bank of Scotland only manage to achieve middle rank placings. Investec Bank and Liverpool Victoria languish at the bottom of the SiteMorse league table in 69th and 70th place.
“The SiteMorse No 1 rating is fantastic news." says David Roberts, Amatica's director of strategy. "It speaks volumes for Amatica's capability in website design, programming and managed hosting.
"For a company that majors in online customer service, the SiteMorse league table is proof positive of the quality of Amatica's web design and managed hosting service."
SiteMorse has been rating retail bank websites for in excess of six years and is the market leader in its field. Since SiteMorse commenced their service, Birmingham Midshires' websites have never failed to be rated as amongst the best in quality and delivery.
