Sagis, the newly formed financial services consultancy firm, established by recognised mortgage and savings expert Tim Hague, launched its new website this week. The website (www.sagis.co.uk) has been designed, built and is hosted by Amatica and uses its Proximity content management system.

Although Sagis is relatively new, Sagis' team of consultants are professionals with decades of experience and track record working in financial services. For Tim Hague, Sagis’ managing partner, ensuring that the website conveyed this track record and expertise was vital. The website provides a wealth of information on Sagis services and process methods as well as profiles of individual consultants.

In addition to creating the Sagis website, Amatica also undertook the photography for the site. An accomplished photographer, Jenni Allen, Amatica’s head of IS solutions rose to the challenge.

“Sagis isn’t a common or garden consultancy, so we didn’t want to resort to the predictable, run of the mill stock photography or portrait photos you so often see on the majority of consultancy websites. However, the decision to shoot the entire team outdoors, on a wet October afternoon in central Birmingham, was not without its amusing moments” says Jenni. Yet despite the poor light, rain, wind and inquisitive members of the public wandering into shot, the results are impressive.

Tim Hague and the team are delighted with the outcome – both website and photography. “Amatica has done a fantastic job of interpreting our requirements. Their experience of working with me in my previous roles at Lloyds Banking Group, HBoS and Birmingham Midshires, and with other members of the Sagis team means that Amatica already had a significant knowledge and understanding of how we all work. This insight was invaluable throughout this process.”

Sagis was formed in 2010 by Tim Hague, former director of savings and investments at Birmingham Midshires, part of the Lloyds Banking Group, to offer consultancy services to financial organisations. Bringing together a select group of business associates contribute a wealth of expertise that covers strategy, marketing, distribution, sales and account management, processing operations and call centres as well as HR and staff learning and development.

Amatica is Sagis' appointed associate for delivering eCommerce solutions, bringing its specialist skills in delivering websites, online self-service and straight-through processing Internet solutions for mortgages, retail savings and wealth management.
