Trafford Housing starts 2011 with new kiosk network

Trafford Housing Trust has extended its online services with three new kiosk information points from Amatica.

The kiosks enable tenants to explore the trust's website, which offers a wide range of services, including repair reporting, rent payment and choice based lettings.

Trafford Housing has seen an increase in demand for its choice based lettings service. The kiosks have been installed in the Trust's customer access points in community centres and libraries to extend access to this service, which enables local people to search for and apply for housing online.

Amatica's relationship with the trust began in 2008, with a pilot kiosk that was installed at the Stretford shopping centre in central Manchester. Having proved their worth over the past two years, the Trust has rolled out these new kiosks to widen access to its online services.

Trafford Housing Trust is an independent housing company set up by the government following the stock transfer of 9,000 homes under the previous ownership of Trafford Metropolitan Borough Council.
