Bolton, Salford &Trafford Mental Health NHS Trust
Project:
Deployment of health information system
Sector:
NHS
Target:
General Public
The Requirement
Established in 2003, the Trust provides a range of integrated general mental health and social care services to the population of Bolton, Salford and Trafford. The Trust also provides a range of specialist and secure services for the whole of Greater Manchester and the North West.
The Trust required a solution to give patients, families and carers access to information and services from a wide range of sources.
The Solution
In order to fulfil this need, Bolton, Salford and Trafford Mental Health NHS Trust is implementing Amatica's kiosk based mental health information system.
Developed in conjunction with Oxleas Mental Health Trust and designed and hosted by Amatica, the system provides patients and their families with access to information and services on a range of mental health issues including support and treatments.
The system will be available on 5 kiosks located across the Trust's sites, consisting of one Cleartouch and 4 TT kiosks. (See our kiosk catalogue for further details of these kiosks) These stylish yet robust kiosks have a small footprint, enabling them to be installed in high traffic public areas.
The Outcome
Liz Reuben, Communications Manager and coordinator for the project, said: "This is an exciting project. We are really looking forward to being able to improve our service by offering clients, patients, family and friends a reliable and an up-to-date source of information in key locations throughout the Trust."
